Golf pain isn't always a golf swing problem.

It's usually a body problem showing up in the swing.

Restricted hips, a locked-up spine, poor single-leg stability — most golfers never get screened for what's actually driving their swing faults, their lost distance, or that ache in the low back on the back nine.

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Mary Walsh PT, CSCS, and TPI Golf Professional to the Cape Concierge team.

She's spent her career helping golfers and runners move and perform pain-free — including co-creating the GolfStrong and Healthy Runners Programs at Spaulding Outpatient Centers, work that was featured on NESN. She's completed 60+ hours of Titleist Performance Institute training, works every season with PGA Project Hope supporting military veterans who golf, and has taught injury prevention sessions for the PGA of New England, running stores, and corporate wellness events across Massachusetts.

Her evaluations use video swing and gait analysis to pinpoint exactly what's limiting your performance or causing pain — then build a plan specific to the way you actually move.

Dr. Mary Walsh is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with a career built around one goal: helping people move and perform without pain, in the activities they actually love.

Mary has spent her career specializing in golfers and runners, using video swing and gait analysis to identify exactly what's driving pain or holding back performance. She co-created the GolfStrong and Healthy Runners Programs at Spaulding Outpatient Centers across Massachusetts and has completed over 60 hours of Titleist Performance Institute training. Her work was featured on NESN, and she continues to volunteer each season with PGA Project Hope, supporting military veterans who golf. She has taught injury-prevention education for the PGA of New England, running specialty stores, and corporate wellness programs throughout the region.

Mary is also passionate about bone health, and is currently working toward her Bonefit Certification to bring specialized osteoporosis care and fracture-prevention training to Cape Concierge clients.

At Cape Concierge PT, Mary tailors every treatment plan around what matters most to her patients — whether that's shaving strokes off a golf game, returning to pain-free running, or building lasting bone strength for the decades ahead.
