Keep Your Game Strong. Keep Yourself Golfing.

$250 · 90 minutes

Cape Concierge Physical Therapy is proud to have a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI)–certified physical therapist on staff. Mary Walsh has completed both the TPI Medical and Fitness certifications, giving her the expertise to evaluate movement limitations that may contribute to pain or affect your golf game—and then help you progress toward improved strength, mobility, and golf-specific fitness.

The goal is simple: keep you golfing while reducing unnecessary stress on your body.

As we age, maintaining our physical capabilities becomes increasingly important. TPI’s philosophy recognizes that there are an infinite number of ways to swing a golf club. The key is finding the most efficient and effective swing for your individual body.

We all have unique physical considerations—perhaps an old shoulder injury, limited hip mobility, or back pain from years of sitting at work. Rather than forcing your body into a particular swing pattern, we look at your movement, your limitations, and your individual needs.

What Happens During Your Visit?

  1. Comprehensive Physical Movement Screen

We’ll assess your movement from head to toe, looking for limitations in mobility, strength, balance, and movement patterns. We’ll identify areas that may be affecting your golf game and determine how they can be addressed.

  2. Golf Swing Video Analysis

Bring an iron with you! We’ll take a video of your golf swing and look at specific swing characteristics from a physical therapy perspective.

If you already work with a golf professional, we’re happy to communicate our findings with them so that your physical therapy and golf instruction can work together. If you don’t have a golf professional, we’ll provide you with the information we gather to help you better understand how your physical capabilities may relate to your swing.

Please note: We are physical therapists, not golf professionals, so we won’t coach you. Instead, we’ll provide information about your physical movement that may be useful to you and your golf professional.

  3. Personalized Golf Fitness Program

Based on your evaluation, we’ll develop a personalized exercise program to address limitations in mobility, muscle strength, stability, and postural alignment.

Your exercises will be golf-specific, while also incorporating movements that can benefit your overall health and everyday activities.

Already have an exercise program? Bring it with you! We’re happy to review your current routine and help determine whether it complements your golf goals and physical needs.

Keep the Golfer Golfing

Whether you’re trying to get back on the course after an injury, improve your physical capabilities, or simply continue playing comfortably as you age, a TPI evaluation can help you better understand how your body influences your golf game.

Your body is unique. Your golf fitness program should be, too.
